Sergi Pompermayer

Sergi Pompermayer (Barcelona 1967). Licensed in veterinary medicine, he debuted as a dramatic author in 1997 with “Zowie” winner of the XXV City of Alcoy Prize and premiered at the Teatro Libre with Lluís Homar as director.

He has also written “Refugiats” (TNC), “Cafè” (Artenbrut Theater), “Un pare emprenyat” (Mercat de les Flors), “Top Model” (Festival Temporada Alta 2009), “Llum de Guàrdia” together with Julio Manrique (Teatro Romea), “Oddi” (Art Theater of Madrid), “New Order” (Sala Flyhard), “Sacrifici” (La Villarroel), “Ossos” (Victoria Theater), “La Comedia de las Mentiras” (Festivalof Classic Theater of Mérida 2017), and “Blues” (Room Beckett), of which six are published and have been released in Portugal, Ireland, Czech Republic, Mexico and in the rest of the Spanish State.

He has performed the dramas of “Timó d’Atenes” by W. Shakespeare (Library of Catalonia) and “Dom Joan” de Molière (TNC).

As a screenwriter he has written in “Plats Bruts” (Premio Ondas 2002), “Porca Miseria” (2006 Ondas prize), “Lo Cartanyà” (director and script coordinator), “La Riera”, “Ask Lara”, “Jet lag” (script coordinator), “Moncloa ¿dígame?” (script coordinator), “L’Un Per l’Altre” (script coordinator and creator together with Jordi Sanchez) “La Sagrada Família” and “Teatral”).

Currently working on a project of Salvados TV and teaches at the ESCAC Superior School of Film of Catalonia, in showrunners Barcelona and masters of the UPF, UAB and Ramon Llull University.
