Eloi Tomàs

He studied at ESCAC, graduating in 2003 with 3 fiction short films, collecting 283 selections and 109 awards, including a nomination for the Goya, for the school Oscars and winning the Malaga Festival and SUNDANCE with “La Ruta Natural” (2004). of what was an assembler.

As an editor, he works on the programs of Televisió de Catalunya “Quarts de Nou”, “Digital Generation”, “Oh, Happy Day”, “FAQS” and “Polseres vermelles”, also on Spanish Television in “El escarabajo verde”, “Imprescindibles” and the series “Pelotas”. He directed the documentary series “Gira: construye tu pasión”.

At the same time, he enters fully into the world of documentaries working as a screenwriter, editor and director in stories shot all over the world: Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, DR, Mexico, Brazil, Bulgaria, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Japan, Australia… being selected and awarded in dozens of festivals on all continents.

In the world of fiction, he works on dozens of short films, including the posthumous work by Montserrat Carulla “Emilia”. Editor of the feature film “Última sesión”, which became Paco Morán’s last job. And with the Pastor brothers, he enters the films “Infectados”, “Los últimos días” (Gaudí award for best film) and the Netflix productions “Hogar” and “Bird Box Barcelona” that will be released on the platform in 2023.
