Norbert Llaràs

With a degree in Law and complementary financial studies, Norbert Llaràs was a producer and partner of the audiovisual production company Zip Films, where he participated in films such as “Alpha” (2012), “Memorias de mis Putas Tristes” (2011), “Fake Orgasm” (2009), “La Mujer del Anarquista” (2007), “Los Cronocrímenes” (2007) or “El Taxista Full” (2006). Almost thirty productions have been screened at festivals such as San Sebastian, Sitges, Locarno, Munich and Sundance, many of them produced in collaboration with the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, Germany, Denmark and Italy.

In 2013 he ended his time at Zip Films and the following year he started a new one, creating his own production company with the aim of producing authentic films and unique audiovisual projects, with a personal identity but with an international spirit.

Seven years after its creation, Alhena Production already has four feature-length fiction films (Cocinando, Mil cosas que haría por ti, Matar a Dios and Sin Techo), two feature documentaries (The thin line and El tiempo después de la lluvia), a documentary series (Vivir en los Pirineos) and seven short films (NADA, SA, RIP, La mala fe, Best-seller, Thirty minutes, M.O.M. and Todos los días de verano son tristes).
He currently chairs the PAC, the Catalan Producers’ Association.
