On October 1, 2017, 2.286.217 people voted for the referendum on self-determination in Catalonia. That day, and the later ones, would mark the country forever. The city of Calella becomes the backbone of the documentary, extrapolated to any municipality in Catalonia.
We will remember everything that happened through witnesses who, in a choral way, will draw us the scenario and context in which the events took place. We present a rigorous documentary where all voices have a place. It is a documentary with a local meaning, which can be extrapolated to all municipalities throughout Catalonia.
With this will, people of great relevance at the national level, such as the senator of EH Bildu, Jon Iñarritu, the president Carles Puigdemont, the MEP Josep Maria Terricabras, the journalist Bea Talegón or the mayor of Calella, Montserrat Candini also play a leading role. From the highest positions of the Government to affected by the police charges, happening through journalists, firemen, priests, politicians of all the ideologies and people of diverse religions.
